Proofreading is the last step before your book goes out into the world. Yes, it matters. I'll go over your manuscript line by line to catch typos, formatting issues, punctuation mistakes, and anything else that could distract your readers.

I look for:

Spelling and grammar errors
Punctuation mistakes
Consistency in formatting and layout
Minor style or language issues that slipped through the cracks

If your manuscript has already been edited and typeset (or is nearly there), proofreading ensures a clean, professional final product.
