Hello, I'm Tual! I'm a book editor with 5+ years of experience in the industry.
I graduated Salutatorian from Hacettepe University with a BA in Teaching French as a Second or Foreign Language. While my background is in language education, my heart has always belonged to books. That passion naturally led me to the world of book editing and translation.
Studying everything from lexicology to linguistics, from drama to poetry analysis, has given me a deep appreciation for the nuances of language—not just how it’s used, but how it’s felt. Teaching has sharpened my ability to notice details, adapt to different voices, and help others grow.
Now, I use this to help authors and publishers shape their best stories.

I’m a member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of ÇEVBİR. Outside of my editorial work, I find great joy in translating books and helping stories cross linguistic and cultural borders. I translated more than ten books since 2020. I speak Turkish, French, and English.

I work with authors writing in American English, and I follow The Chicago Manual of Style to ensure clarity, consistency, and industry-standard quality.
